At BMC we are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our Dublin based inside sales team. Business Development Representatives collaborate with the Field Sales Team to build a territory plan, to get set up for success and drive revenue by connecting with customers and building opportunities that will make all parties more successful. This involves prospecting at C-level, VP and Director Level. Attending organized quarterly Sales and Technical training held by the BMC Graduate Academy.

You will be responsible for

·       Identifying prospective accounts specific to your region

·       Collaborating with account executives to build strong alignments

·       Building sales pipeline by prospecting within your region

·       Reaching out to potential partners through various channels (phone, email, social channels)

·       Recording data and maintaining our CRM to enable us to develop market intelligence

·       Achieving KPI’s set by the ISD team

The Business Development Representative role is the first step in our sales academy. It is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and driven sales professional, or a graduate, looking to embark on a lucrative sales career leading to huge earning potential and/or management. Through a variety of training, and progression plans we aim to have our successful academy graduates operating in an account management role after 2 years.

Experience/ Requirements

  • Fluency in English and German is essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of accomplishments and overachievement of goals in professional and/or personal settings
  • Ability to uncover business pain and handle objections
  • University degree or relevant experience
  • Outbound sales experience in a corporate environment desirable
