The Business Development Representative role is the first step in this process. It is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and driven sales professional, or a graduate, looking to embark on a lucrative sales career leading to huge earning potential and/or Management. Through a variety of training, and progression plans we aim to have our successful academy graduates operating in the field after 2 years.

Development & Success
We are committed to your development & success, to create the BMC Salesforce of the future. BMC is prioritizing and investing in the development of our ISD community for long term growth. The program is designed around 3 years of enablement and support to be a successful field person. First two years, in the COE (Dublin/Singapore) and by year 3, you start selling in the field.
Year 1: Business Development Representative
Year 2: Senior BDR
Year 3: Junior Product Account Manager

Business Development Representatives collaborate with the Field Sales Team to build a territory plan, to get set up for success and drive revenue by connecting with customers and building opportunities that will make all parties more successful. This involves prospecting at C-level, VP and Director Level. Attending organized quarterly Sales and Technical training held by the BMC Graduate Academy.

Experience/ Requirements
  • Fluency in English and German is essential
  • Proven track record of accomplishments and overachievement of goals in professional and/or personal settings.
  • Ability to uncover business pain and handle objections
  • University degree or relevant experience
  • Outbound sales experience in a corporate environment desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
