Our BMC Sales Academy has been designed to develop the next generation of field sales reps. We are structuring our Inside Sales community to give our Business Development Representatives the opportunity to thrive in a diverse community of talent, while gaining valuable sales experience to help them progress their sales careers at BMC. The Business Development Role is designed for ambitious and driven professionals and graduates looking to embark on an exciting training and progression plan with the goal of producing world class field sales representatives.
Our Inside sales Centre of Excellence in Dublin & Singapore, are designed to help BDRs Onboard, Learn and Experience a new environment while helping them to grow and develop their Sales career. They will be immersed in a multicultural team alongside designated managers all working towards the same goal of development and success.

The Day to Day responsibilities of a Business Development Representative

You will collaborate with the Field Sales Team to build a territory plan, to get set up for success and drive revenue by connecting with customers and building opportunities that will make all parties more successful. This involves prospecting at C-level, VP and Director Level. Attending organized quarterly Sales and Technical training held by the BMC Graduate Academy.



You will need to possess most of the below skills to be successful in this program.


Fluency in English and French is essential
Proven track record of accomplishments and overachievement of goals in professional and/or personal settings.
Ability to uncover business pain and handle objections
Outbound sales experience in a corporate environment desirable but not essential – we can enable you.
Highly competitive streak
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
