A BMC Associate Consultant contributes to technical delivery engagements by performing the build / configuration of BMC solutions as specified in the approved Solution Design and Architecture Document for the project. The Associate Consultant works closely with the project team under guidance of Project Architect and Project Manager to ensure the implementation conforms to the approved design. 

Key Responsibilities:

Perform L2 operational Activities on below BMC Remedy Solutions ITSM 
  • DWP/MyIT, 
  • DWPA,  
  • SmartIT, 
  • Smart reporting, 
  • CMDB, Asset Management etc.
  • Maintain BMC Product platform availability as per agreed availability commitment
  • Perform configurations(Reports,SRD's,DWPC Catalog,Foundation Data etc)
  • Follow the ITIL standard best processes.
  • Work closely with Team Members to review service delivery quality with focus on continuous improvement"
Qualifications / Certifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (preferred)
  • ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
  • BMC Certified professional
  • 2(+) relevant years technical IT experience that includes:
  • 1(+) relevant year BMC product line experience
  • Experience in Administration and Configurations of BMC Solutions
  • Should have professional Services Experience
  • Experience on Windows/UNIX/LINUX operating systems 
  • Good knowledge of Virtualization, networking, and database concepts
  • Well organized with a positive attitude, ability to work in customer facing env & should be able to communicate with Customers, Vendors, and other internal groups as required.
  • Works well in teams providing strong, relevant input and allows ideas from others to be shared and used when appropriate. Interacts well with project and Customer teams to contribute to the good of the project.
  • Effective communication skills in English & Spanish (verbal and written).
  • Willing to work in shifts, weekend and on-call support will be required.
  • Written and verbal communication skills for project team engagement
  • Prioritization / Management time to deliver on assigned deliverables and project schedule 
  • Email and phone skills / etiquette
