Description and Requirements

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

This associate accountant position is based in Argentina and you will be supporting daily accounting activities in both Argentina and Colombia. 

Accounts Payable:
  • Invoice processing.
  • Coordinate payments with AP. 
  • Issue  check payments and notify vendors in order to receive them. 
  • Review employee expense reports.
  • Complete and send forms in order to create new vendors in ORACLE.
  • Control Petty Cash. 
Cash Flow Reporting:
  • Prepare cashflow / reconcile bank movements.
Accounts Receivable:
  • Prepare customer collections receipts.
Accounting:
  • Prepare monthly bank journal entries.
  • Prepare monthly expense accrual journal entries.
  • Prepare monthly tax accrual journal entries.
  • Prepare monthly intercompany settlement journal entries.
  • Prepare general balance sheets / expense  journal entries reclass.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations in Blackline.
Tax:
  • Prepare tax information to Tax Firm for monthly returns.
Other Admin:
  • Issue PO Standard and Urgent such as Third party / Internet fee.

Experience/ Qualifications:
  • Education: 4 year bachelors degree in accounting preferred
  • Experience: 3+ years conducting accounting related functions
  • Computer Systems:  MS Excel. Oracle a nice to have
  • Language Skills: Spanish fluency / Upper Intermediate level English
