Description and Requirements

We are looking for a talented and well-connected Analyst Relations Manager to join a growing group of analyst relations professionals within BMC. This role will be a critical member of our analyst relations team focused on keeping analysts informed about BMC innovation, while helping us enhance BMC’s market position and brand image with the analyst community (Example: Gartner, Forrester Research, International Data Corporation (IDC), Niche AR firms). We are agile, innovative and outcome driven in our approach, and open to new and unique ideas in how we approach analyst relations.

In this role, you will partner with our Director of Analyst Relations to drive programs across our product portfolio with both traditional and less traditional analysts and influencers. You will also work closely with the broader Marketing Communications and Engagement to drive integrated campaigns that also touch media relations, social media, content marketing, and customer engagements.

Primary points of responsibility include, but will not be limited to:
•Build and maintain proactive, positive relationships with key analysts through a consistent cadence of engagements
•Facilitate all analyst engagements-including inquiry calls, vendor briefings, advisory sessions, and speaking engagements-from scheduling to moderating to distributing insights
•Collaborate closely with Corporate Marketing, Solutions Marketing and Product Management subject matter experts to develop briefing materials and other analyst content, primarily in emerging technology markets
•Develop and monitor analyst firm report calendars for relevant research reports and coverage potential
•Coordinate distribution and use of analyst generated content, coverage and insights across BMC stakeholders to drive increased awareness and amplification
•Lead real-time monitoring for analyst perception and inclusion across published research, blogs, and social media
•Prepare and host on-site and remote analyst strategy days and events, including end-to-end planning, logistics and on-site support

Experience and Skills:
•2-5 years combined experience in analyst relations, marketing, communications, product management, or consulting in B2B software.
•Experience managing and organizing multiple, complex tasks and projects concurrently
•Experience operating in a technological environment with organizational complexity
•Attention to detail and experience leading cross-functional teams
•Strong presentation skills including strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills
•Strong persuasive skills with the ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels, including senior executives, within BMC and the analyst community
•Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure
•Display and encourage creativity and innovation in self and others
•Business-to-business technology AR experience a plus

Education:
•Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or technology-related field preferable
