BMC’s Global Outsourcer and System Integrator (GOSI) business unit serves the world’s largest and most complex GOSI partner accounts. These premier accounts are managed by a team of experienced Global & Regional/Geographical Account Managers with the primary objective of growing BMC’s footprint and market presence through a converged approach to both direct and indirect sales.
 

Position:

 

The GOSI Account Manager will have primary responsibility for growing BMC’s business within strategic outsourcers and system integrators within a specific region or geography.  This growth will be accomplished through three primary selling motions: sell-to, re-sell, and co-sell.  The GOSI Account Manager, while having specific responsibilities and targets for an assigned region, will also be part of, and have responsibilities within, a global and strategically focused account team led by the Global Account Manager.  The collective global team will be focused on the achievement of quarterly and annual growth and total revenue goals, while also creating and executing against a multi-year strategic partnership plan, building executive relationships, identifying strategic sales play and offerings, and facilitating engagement and collaboration between BMC field reps, the GOSI account team, and the GOSI partner account. The GOSI Account Manager requires a strong entrepreneurial and creative spirit, while taking a consultative approach to selling.  He/she works toward a trusted advisor status serving as the executive contact on behalf BMC and communicating BMC’s unique value. He/she will also be expected to follow a proven sales process, and lead a broader BMC ecosystem team, inclusive of GOSI and field sales, specialist sales, pre-sales and other BMC resources to ensure BMC achieves the desired results and outcomes throughout the sales cycle.
