BMC empowers nearly 80% of the Forbes Global 100 to accelerate business value, faster than humanly possible. Our industry-leading portfolio unlocks human and machine potential to drive business growth, innovation, and sustainable success. BMC does this in a simple and optimized way by connecting people, systems, and data that power the world’s largest organizations so they can seize a competitive advantage.

BMC is seeking a Senior Sourcing Analyst to support the Global Procurement organization as a scalable, AI-enabled business partner, with a primary focus on the Non-Employee Labor (Contingent Workforce) category.

This role combines strategic sourcing and contracting with operational program management, including close partnership with BMC’s managed service provider (MSP) to administer the contingent worker program in Fieldglass.

The Senior Sourcing Analyst is responsible for executing end-to-end sourcing and contracting activities (including Statements of Work), while ensuring efficient, compliant, and scalable delivery of contingent workforce services. The role requires applying judgment to risk-based decisions, leveraging standardized procurement paths, and identifying opportunities to improve both category outcomes and program operations.

Sourcing & Contract Execution

  • Independently manage procurement and contracting activities for the Non-Employee Labor category, including sourcing events, supplier selection, negotiations, Statements of Work (SOWs), and contract execution.
  • Lead and support SOW-based engagements, including rate validation, scope alignment, and commercial negotiations.
  • Apply total cost of ownership principles (cost, quality, service, risk, compliance) specific to contingent labor and services.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure compliant and efficient contract execution for contingent workforce engagements.

Contingent Workforce Program Operations & MSP Management

  • Serve as a Procurement point of contact for the contingent workforce program, partnering closely with the Managed Service Provider (MSP).
  • Support day-to-day program operations within Fieldglass, including requisition intake, SOW processing, worker onboarding alignment, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor program compliance with procurement policies, labor classification requirements, and operational controls.
  • Collaborate with the MSP and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent execution of workflows, SLAs, and service expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve program efficiency, data quality, and user experience within Fieldglass and related processes.
  • Support reporting and analytics related to contingent workforce spend, utilization, and supplier performance.

AI‑Enabled & Efficient Operations

  • Leverage approved AI tools, workflows, and automation to streamline sourcing activities, reduce cycle times, and improve insight quality.
  • Utilize standardized playbooks, templates, thresholds, and decision logic to route work appropriately (self‑service vs. analyst‑led).
  • Identify repeatable, low‑risk procurement activities and recommend opportunities for automation, standardization, or policy‑based handling.
  • Contribute ideas and feedback to improve procurement processes, tooling, and agent‑enabled workflows.

Business Partnership & Risk‑Based Decision Making

  • Engage directly with internal business partners to understand requirements, timelines, and risk tolerance.
  • Apply independent judgment to assess deal complexity and escalate appropriately when thresholds, risk, or ambiguity increase.
  • Participate in stakeholder and supplier business reviews to assess performance, identify risk, and drive continuous improvement.

·       Advise business stakeholders on appropriate engagement models (SOW vs. contingent worker vs. other alternatives) based on risk, duration, and cost.

Supplier & Market Intelligence

  • Maintain working relationships with suppliers and develop knowledge of relevant markets, innovations, and supplier capabilities.
  • Support supplier performance management efforts for assigned categories or suppliers.
  • Contribute data and insights for management reporting, savings tracking, and operational metrics.
  • Develop knowledge of staffing suppliers and contingent workforce market trends, including rate benchmarking and labor availability.

Compliance & Operational Excellence

  • Ensure adherence to Global Procurement policies, procedures, and financial controls.
  • Execute purchasing card transactions where applicable and ensure accurate, timely reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation and system data to support auditability and analytics.
  • Ensure adherence to contingent workforce policies, including proper use of Fieldglass workflows, SOW governance, and worker classification controls.
  • Maintain accurate data in Fieldglass and procurement systems to support auditability, reporting, and compliance requirements.
