Lead Frontend Developer – Admin Configuration Team (Tel Aviv, Hybrid)

BMC is looking for a Lead Frontend Developer to join our Admin Configuration teams in Tel Aviv (Hybrid)!
Join us to shape the Admin experience of Control-M, our industry-leading workload orchestration product. As a technical lead, you’ll drive architecture decisions, mentor team members, and deliver high-quality code that impacts enterprise IT teams worldwide.
What You Bring
• 7+ years of experience in frontend development, with 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Hands-on experience in Angular 5+ (preferably Angular 15+).
• Proven ability to make architectural decisions and guide technical direction.
• Experience developing complex enterprise products for global B2B customers.
• Solid understanding of web architecture, performance, and security.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Nice to Have
• Experience with Nx monorepo and modular architecture.
• Interest in product thinking and UX.
• Experience with backend development in Java.
• Familiarity with scaling frontend architecture for large enterprise products.
What You’ll Do
• Own technical leadership for frontend development within the Admin Configuration team.
• Design and develop scalable, high-quality features: 80% Frontend (Angular – latest), 20% Backend APIs (Java, Spring Boot).
• Drive architectural decisions for components, frameworks, and best practices.
• Mentor and guide developers through code reviews and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, Backend) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security across the stack.
• Participate in customer support efforts by resolving technical issues and improving user experience.
• Explore and integrate AI-driven capabilities (e.g., intelligent UI components, predictive insights) to enhance user experience and product efficiency.
• Tech stack includes: Angular 15+ (RxJS, Component Store), Nx Monorepo, Java (for backend APIs), RESTful APIs. CI/CD with Jenkins and GitHub Actions, Git, JIRA, Confluence, XWiki.
