The Quality Automation Engineer III leads Quality Assurance activities for complex projects, developing and implementing effective manual and automated testing strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery. This role provides technical guidance, drives continuous quality improvements, and promotes modern Quality Engineering practices across teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and testing strategies for complex applications and enterprise-scale solutions.
• Architect, implement, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using modern tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, and API testing frameworks.
• Lead functional, integration, regression, performance, and exploratory testing efforts across multiple products and projects.
• Oversee defect triage, root cause analysis, prioritization, and resolution in collaboration with development teams.
• Analyze quality metrics, test results, and defect trends to drive quality improvements and release readiness.
• Facilitate collaboration between Quality Engineering, Development, Product Management, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Own test environments, test data management, and CI/CD quality practices to support reliable and efficient testing.
• Evaluate and recommend new testing technologies, methodologies, and automation practices to improve quality and team productivity.
Quality Governance & Continuous Improvement
• Support quality assessments and governance across multiple product lines.
• Lead quality initiatives, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality processes.
• Conduct Quality Plan and Quality Assurance reviews to ensure compliance with organizational standards and quality objectives.
To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
• 6+ years of professional experience.
• Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Experience with modern test automation tools and Agile development practices.
