As a Renewal Sales Manager focused on Risk & Analytics, you will manage the identification and mitigation of renewal risk across a multi-billion-dollar portfolio. You’ll analyze performance and cancellation trends, develop data-driven insights, and partner cross-functionally to shape strategies that maximize retention, predictability, and customer satisfaction. This is a highly visible, analytical, and strategic role within BMC’s Global Renewals organization.

Here is how, through this exciting role, you will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

  • Analyze renewal and cancellation data to identify risk indicators, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and maintain executive dashboards that enhance renewal visibility and forecast accuracy.
  • Partner with global and regional Sales and Customer Success leaders to collaborate on mitigation strategies for at-risk customers.
  • Track key metrics and KPIs across customer segments, solutions, and partner channels to ensure consistent renewal performance.
  • Present renewal insights, forecasts, and recommendations to senior and executive leadership with clarity, confidence, and data-backed storytelling.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Enablement teams to improve process efficiency, data quality, and business predictability.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps in analytics, reporting, or process design and implementing scalable solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject-matter expert in renewal risk and analytics, contributing to global transformation initiatives.

You will act as a BMC Brand Ambassador both internally and externally and to build trust and confidence with the renewals team, customers, partners and colleagues through integrity and professionalism while focusing on BMC’s main strategy: Customer Centricity and Value-Based Selling.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5–10 years of experience in sales, customer success, revenue operations, or business analytics in a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
  • Proven ability to translate data and insights into clear, actionable business strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency with analytical tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau; experience with Salesforce or CRM analytics a plus.
  • Strong executive communication skills — able to synthesize insights and present recommendations to senior audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with attention to detail, capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Collaborative and influential, with the ability to work across global teams and functions to achieve shared outcomes.
