How You Will Contribute to BMC's Success and Your Professional Growth:

In this strategic leadership role, you will:

Direct and inspire a team of approximately 13 accomplished engineers, championing innovation and operational excellence
Attract, cultivate, and retain top-tier talent while establishing a culture of continuous advancement and exceptional performance
Orchestrate the complete product development lifecycle for cutting-edge solutions, from architectural conceptualization through enterprise-scale deployment
Define and execute the strategic vision for mission-critical mainframe security products deployed across global enterprise environments, while driving pivotal technical decisions
Foster strategic partnerships across DevOps, IT, Support, and Product Management organizations to ensure flawless execution and delivery

To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset and experience:

You have at least 4 years of experience leading Agile software development teams, including hiring, mentoring, and guiding team members
You have 7+ years of experience in enterprise software development, ideally with C/Assembler
You have hands-on experience with Mainframe Security subsystem administration, including RACF
You have working knowledge of X.509 Certificates and SSH keys/certificates
You have solid understanding of CI/CD and DevOps technologies, with the ability to manage and optimize complex CI/CD pipelines
You have appreciation for the importance of highly automated QA environments
You have practical project management skills and experience
You have adaptability and genuine enthusiasm for adopting modern technologies
You have strong communication and interpersonal skills
You have fluency in English, both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications:

You have CISSP certification
You have a B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field
You have strong skills in DevOps practices and automation
You have experience with mainframe security subsystems such as ACF2 and Top Secret
