DBA SaaS - Solutions Sales Group (SSG) – Americas STAR


Digital Business Automation (DBA) and Control-M is BMC´s cornerstone for Orchestration and Automation solutions. Control-M helps organizations manage, orchestrate, automate and schedule their data and application workflows across different systems and environments. Analysts keep putting BMC Control-M solutions in the lead of their quadrants and competitive analysis.


STAR is a strategic program launched several years ago at BMC, focused on managing the company’s top accounts. Its primary objective is to drive growth and deepen engagement within our most important customer relationships.


In 2020, BMC launched Control-M SaaS, as a way to help new and existing customers accelerate and simplify their adoption of automation capabilities, through a cloud native SaaS delivery model. 

Since then, BMC has successfully evolved the platform and numerous customers worldwide have adopted the solution across different verticals (BFSI, Telco, CPG, Public Sector, Utilities, Services…), Go-to-Markets (STAR, Focus, Growth) and Sales Motions (New Logo, New SaaS Area, Migrations)


Reporting to the WW DBA SaaS Director, the primary focus of the DBA SaaS – SSG Americas STAR Leader is to grow Control-M SaaS market share in Americas STAR Go-to-Market.
In this position you will be working together with the Geo Sales Leadership and the rest of SSG-DBA team covering the G2M to drive sales, as well as with the Product Leadership team in driving the sales strategy for the DBA Group. 
As a DBA SaaS – SSG Americas STAR, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Work with the STAR Americas ecosystem to grow the DBA SaaS ACV and TCV
  • Transform the DBA solution sales team through continued enablement to deliver on the DBA SaaS portfolio
  • Drive SaaS Pipeline Generation efforts initiatives 
  • Support presenting DBA SaaS Vision Strategy to CXO’s and Analysts
  • Engage with key DBA customers on senior level to support SaaS sales cycles
  • Manage multiple sales motions to include New logo, New SaaS Area, Additional capacity, Migrations and Unified View
  • Lead by example with the highest integrity and ethics
  • Effectively communicate to the ecosystem a vision aligned with the organization's mission, strategy and direction
  • Take an active role in developing strong relationships with your ecosystem (peer Managers/Solutions Engineering/Managers/Corporate Functions)
  • Ensure customer satisfaction remains high and develop referenceable clients’ interaction
  • Provide accurate and reliable DBA SaaS revenue projections to the senior management including forecasting

  • An effective communicator to explain the Strategy and Vision of our DBA SaaS Solutions portfolio
  • A person with experience in building and growing a SaaS business
  • A data-driven individual comfortable with forecasts, pipeline reporting and business metrics
  • A professional with strong customer contract negotiation and management skills
