The Digital Solutions Engineering (DSE) team is a group of highly consultative, technical and business experts who partner closely with Sales to capture customer requirements and articulate how BMC Helix’s unique capabilities deliver real business outcomes. This is a high-impact, highly visible team that works with the most successful sales organizations across our global customer base.

Join us as a BMC Helix Associate Solution Engineer on our Digital Solutions Engineering Presales team! As an Associate Solution Engineer, you will work directly with Sales and Presales organizations to create strategy, timelines and deliverables that align customer initiatives to BMC Helix solutions — including our AIOps, ITSM, and HelixGPT capabilities.

Here is how, through this exciting role, you will contribute to BMC Helix’s and your own success:

Through a consultative approach, you will partner with Sales teams to interpret often complex customer needs and develop innovative solutions delivering both business and technical value with BMC Helix.
You will simplify the communication of both technical and business content to a varied audience — from IT operations teams to C-level executives.
For maximum impact on sales engagements, you will actively partner with customers to document their current state, capture applicable metrics, assist in defining the right BMC Helix solution, and build deliverables for use by Sales and other Solution Engineers throughout the sales cycle.
You will deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts that bring the BMC Helix platform to life for each customer’s specific context and goals.
You will leverage AI-assisted tools — including large language models, prompt engineering, and vibe coding approaches — to create differentiated demo assets, automate repetitive tasks, and accelerate solution development.
As a BMC Helix DSE team member, you will be included in global projects, participate in our Helix bootcamp enablement program, and be encouraged to challenge yourself and innovate every day.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset and experience:

You can embrace, live and breathe our BMC Helix values every day!
You have 0–2 years of experience in a presales, technical sales, consulting, IT support, or related role — or equivalent hands-on project experience. Fresh graduates with strong technical curiosity and relevant internships are welcome.
Ideally, you are already familiar with our ITSM/ITOM space, but don’t worry if you’re not — we have great enablement programs, including the BMC Helix bootcamp catalogue, to bring you up to speed quickly.
You have a practical understanding of AI and related technologies: you are comfortable working with large language models (LLMs), using AI coding assistants (vibe coding), building prompts with LangChain or similar frameworks, and applying generative AI tools to real-world problems.
You are curious about how AI and automation are reshaping IT operations — topics like AIOps, intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and AI agents excite rather than intimidate you.
Professional English proficiency is required. Depending on the region you will support, proficiency in an additional language (Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, or others) may also be required.
You are business aware, curious by nature, and an everyday problem solver who enjoys turning ambiguous customer challenges into clear, compelling solution narratives.
You are a great storyteller and can bring your achievements — professional or personal — to life in a way that resonates with any audience. Story-telling and communication skills matter

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 1,180,000 INR.
