The Associate Renewals Sales Representative plays a key role in supporting BMC’s Digital Renewals organization by managing the automated end to end renewal process and partnering closely with internal teams and external stakeholders. This role requires strong renewal and quoting experience, solid commercial judgment, and the ability to operate independently with exceptional attention to detail in a fast paced environment.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical and analytical skills—particularly in Excel, reporting, data analytics, and AI tools—paired with a proactive, solution oriented mindset. This position offers exposure to enterprise customers and global stakeholders and is designed to evolve over time into increased partner and customer facing renewal negotiation responsibilities.
How YOU will contribute to BMC’s success
• Oversee automated renewals by ensuring the end to end process executes accurately and completely.
• Prepare renewal quotes using our automated quote generation tool when transactions fall outside the automated workflow.
• Review and validate contracts, pricing, and compliance with commercial and legal terms.
• Support global renewals, with Americas experience considered a strong advantage.
• Apply commercial acumen to assess pricing scenarios, contract structures, renewal risks, and recovery opportunities.
• Manage multiple renewals and competing priorities independently in a fast paced environment.
• Leverage advanced Excel and analytics to track trends, build dashboards, and generate renewal forecasts.
• Use AI tools to streamline workflows, enhance reporting, and improve data accuracy.
• Maintain Salesforce hygiene to ensure accurate pipeline, renewal tracking, and forecasting.
• Partner cross functionally with Sales and, as responsibilities expand, with Legal, Finance, Rev Rec, Order Services, and Customer Success.
• Submit renewal orders for booking or process cancellations as required.
• Track non renewals, analyze cancellation drivers, and deliver data driven insights through regular reporting cycles.
• Demonstrate strong problem solving, initiative, and exceptional attention to detail.
• Engage in renewal discussions and negotiations with partners or customers as the role expands.
