The Value & Solution Engineering group (VSE) partners with the Sales organization to deliver impactful customer experiences by combining in-depth knowledge of BMC solutions with a deep understanding of the customer’s business. By leveraging their technical expertise, value-based selling techniques, and Engagement Excellence deliverables, VSE helps customers discover and realize the value that BMC provides to their organizations.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities

As an AI Specialist, your role will involve creating and implementing AI solutions to enhance our ability to position and demonstrate the value of BMC products to customers. You will utilize your expertise in AI technologies, generative AI, and large language models to assist the presales and sales teams in showcasing the value of our solutions to potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop AI and generative AI solutions that meet customer needs and business goals.
• Create prototypes and proof-of-concept models to demonstrate the potential of AI solutions.
• Use existing knowledge management platforms and content repositories to develop AI models that deliver desired outcomes for sales engagements.
• Conduct technical demos and presentations to highlight AI capabilities and solutions to clients.
• Collaborate with internal customers to understand their business challenges and propose AI-driven solutions.
• Provide technical support to users and customer queries and address technical concerns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including solution engineers, value engineers, and product managers, to ensure successful AI solution implementation.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, generative AI, and large language models to continuously enhance solution offerings.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in AI engineering, particularly with generative AI and large language models.
  • Expertise in machine learning frameworks, natural language processing (NLP) techniques, web scraping, and a solid understanding of LLMs and their uses.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively explain technical concepts to clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client challenges with AI solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 2,790,000 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
