We are looking for a motivated and adaptable Payroll Specialist, who will also take on some

Country HR responsibilities, to join our team in Israel. This role combines strategic human

resources responsibilities with operational payroll processing for our Israel team, while also expanding to cover payroll operations across additional EMEA countries.

The ideal candidate is passionate about developing people, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with local labor legislation and regulations.

This role is a critical part of our effort to make payroll across Israel & Europe seamless, compliant, and efficient


Key Responsibilities:


Payroll Specialist (70%)

  • Manage end-to-end monthly payroll process for Israel through an external payroll
  • provider.
  • Oversee payroll operations for additional EMEA countries, ensuring standardized,
  • accurate, and timely processing in collaboration with external providers and local
  • partners.
  • Gather and validate payroll inputs (working hours, allowances, incentives, and benefits)
  • and collaborate with finance and accounting teams for payments.
  • Review and validate payroll inputs/outputs, including salaries, bonuses, commissions, and
  • deductions.
  • Ensure payroll is processed in compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations across
  • Israel and supported EMEA countries.
  • Handle inquiries related to pay, benefits, taxes, or other related issues in a clear,
  • empathetic, and professional manner.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate employment and payroll records.
  • Support internal and external audits related to payroll and employment data.
  • Implement process improvements to maximize accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across
  • multiple EMEA jurisdictions.


Country HR (30%)

  • Implement and oversee onboarding and offboarding processes in compliance with Israeli
  • labor laws.
  • Manage benefits administration, including health care, pension, and other employmentrelated programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment legislation (Employment Equal Opportunity, Labor
  • Law, Occupational Safety, and Health) in Israel.
  • Provide data and reports related to employment metrics forstrategic decision making.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in HR and Payroll within Israel; experience supporting
  • payroll in additional EMEA countries strongly preferred.
  • Profound understanding of Israeli labor legislation (Employment Law, National
  • Insurance, Income Tax) and regulations, with working knowledge of broader EMEA
  • payroll and employment requirements an advantage.
  • Experience with payroll software and related financial controls (such as Hilan, Malam, or
  • Priority) a strong plus; familiarity with international payroll systems or multi-country
  • payroll platforms desirable.
  • Proven experience working with third-party payroll providers in Israel and across multiple
  • jurisdictions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and
  • across countries.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Fluency in English and Hebrew (written and spoken) is a must; additional European
  • language(s) are a plus.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, solution-oriented, and able to work in a dynamic and growing
  • enterprise.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage
  • multi-country complexities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, cross-border
  • environment.
  • The ability to travel between Tel Hai and Tel Aviv office locations is needed.
  • On-site presence is required in a hybrid model.
