We are looking for an innovative and strategic Principal Product Manager within ITOM and AIOps, to predominantly lead HelixGPT’s product vision and Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy, driving our generative AI platform’s success in ITOM, AIOps and ServiceOps. This role is pivotal in positioning HelixGPT as a transformative solution for CxO-level decision-makers, expanding our reach within large enterprises and competitive markets. As the Principal Product Manager, you will have a unique opportunity to shape HelixGPT’s roadmap, spearhead partnerships with industry leaders, and set new standards for AI-driven AIOps solutions in a rapidly evolving market.

Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

Core GenAI Platform Leadership: Shape the product strategy and GTM for HelixGPT as the foundational technology that empowers our platform’s innovation and capabilities.
GenAI and LLM Integration: Lead HelixGPT’s GenAI advancements by defining the roadmap for LLM integration, prompt engineering, model optimization, and deployment options.
Depth of Observability: Be at the forefront in also ensuring there is depth in core observability capabilities for Helix AIOps
Cross-functional Leadership: Champion the unification of product, R&D, UX, and GTM teams to forge unparalleled synergy and relentless execution.
Drive GTM Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive GTM strategy for HelixGPT, positioning it as the leading solution in the ITOM, AIOps and ServiceOps space.
Develop and champion vertical-specific solutions and best practices for different GenAI use cases, ITOM/observability domains (NW management, infra/cloud management, App/DEM etc), and industries (Telco, Fintech, Retail).
Strategic Partnerships: Champion partnerships in both product and GTM with top AI players such as OpenAI, Azure, GCP, and AWS to enhance HelixGPT’s capabilities and market reach.
Customer-Centric Innovation: Drive continuous improvement and innovation by leading design partner programs, leveraging customer feedback, market trends, and competitive analysis to enhance ITOM/AIOps & HelixGPT’s product offerings.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

10+ years of software product management experience in a SaaS enterprise/B2B software company, including both outbound and inbound experience.
Demonstrable experience with AI technologies and Operations Management and related domains
5+ years of experience in lead / principal product management roles
Experience working with global B2B customers, including participation in complex international sales cycles and a customer-centric approach.
Experience in leading product vision and strategy, with an Agile environment
Ability to distil complex business and technical requirements into clear, concise PRD's and prioritized feature backlogs.
Experience in Cloud-based products and technologies
Knowledge of various business domains, such as Machine Learning, Workflow Orchestration, Telecom, Finance, Retail, IT Service Management etc.
Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills with both external customers and internal interfaces.
Self-starter with a can-do approach and strategic mindset.
Ability to move seamlessly between the 'big picture' and very low levels of technical and business detail.
Willingness to travel, typically 1-2 times a quarter

Nice to have skills

Technical background as a software developer, QA engineer or similar.
Background in sales / presales / customers success or similar
Knowledge of DevOps processes, CI\CD pipeline tools and Microservices architecture
B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.

At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $144,900 - $241,500
